The system card became part of the launch

Operator’s system card demonstrated why a model release increasingly needs a public technical record. A product page describes what a system can do; a system card can also describe how it was tested, where it failed and which safeguards were added.

The document is not an independent audit, but it creates a common object for scrutiny. Public accountability improves when claims, evaluations and limitations are written down before the product becomes ordinary.
