Universal Autonomous Forum examines technology, money and power through the development of autonomous systems. These standards guide our editorial work.

Evidence before assertion

Substantial factual claims should be traceable to their sources. We prioritize original research, official documents, technical material and direct reporting. A company announcement establishes what a company says, not independent proof that its product performs as claimed.

Reporting, analysis and uncertainty

We distinguish documented facts from interpretation and opinion. Analysis explains what evidence may mean; it should not disguise forecasts as established outcomes. When information is incomplete or contested, that uncertainty belongs in the story.

Attribution and editorial responsibility

UAF Editorial is the publication’s collective editorial byline, not a claim that a named individual reported every story. Editorial tools do not replace responsibility for checking quotations, sources and factual claims. Illustrations provide visual interpretation and should not be mistaken for documentary photographs of an event.

Corrections

Material factual errors should be corrected with an explanatory note. Read our corrections policy and tell us when something needs review.
